Each board has a galvanised metal band at each end to prevent splitting and therefore pro-long the life of your board.

Boards are supplied unplaned (this does help to make them far less 'slippy') and untreated.

Should you need to reduce the length of your board, see our board end bands which you can fit after cutting to prevent splitting.
